Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Mechanical Maintenance Technician sought by a recycling facility in Runcorn. This subsidiary of an international, £multibillion turnover plastics manufacturer is focused on growing the circular economy and they see innovation within PVC recycling as pivotal to their global sustainability strategy.

This is a permanent role on weekly rotating shifts, 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm, known formally within the business as Mechanical Technician.

The Role:

As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician with mechanical bias, you’ll be working as part of a team on the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of bearing replacements conveyor belts, motor gearbox replacements, electrical and instrumentation equipment in compliance with industry regulations, Health & Safety standards, and company procedures.
