Mechanical Manager

Role Overview

Reporting to the Senior Technical Manager , the Mechanical Manager will be a key member of the wider site-based team, with overall responsibility for leading and managing mechanical service delivery across the site.

The role encompasses a broad range of mechanical disciplines, including:

• Ventilation systems (including Local Exhaust Ventilation)
• Fire dampers and motorised fire and smoke dampers
• Air conditioning and refrigeration systems
• Chiller plant
• Water systems
• Medium and Low Temperature Hot Water (MTHW/LTHW) boiler systems
• Generator services
• All associated mechanical plant and equipment

Working closely with Supervisors, Engineers, and Service Partners, the Mechanical Manager will ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all mechanical plant and systems across the operational estate. The role carries full accountability for ensuring that both pla...
