Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer

Required Qualifications & Skills

● BS Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering

● Professional Experience range: 5-10 years

● Direct experience working at or with contract manufacturers, preferably for electronic assemblies ● Proven track record of successful new product introductions and production ramps

● Experience identifying manufacturing defects and making disposition decisions (scrap, rework, use-as-is)

● Strong understanding of manufacturing processes: injection molding, sheet metal fabrication, assembly operations

● Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, GD&T, and assembly instructions

● Experience with PFMEA, control plans, and manufacturing quality systems such as ISO9001 or IATF16949

● Strong understanding of change management, root cause analysis (RCA) and 8D problem-solving methodology

● AQL and inspection sampling in a production setting
