Mechanical Material Planner

Overview

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Mechanical Material Planner to join our team in Norfolk, VA . This is an onsite position.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technical manuals, drawings, sketches, hit kits, job summaries; plans and Engineering Method & Standards to develop cost estimates.
• Obtain estimates from vendors and contractors to supply complete material assemblies for installation aboard ships.
• Support ordering all types of material, including Level One IAW Navy’s Level I Program (NAVSEA 0945- LP- ), Mil Spec, Rentals, Services, and Hazardous Materials IAW Navy, Corporate and OSHE specifications.
• Capable of using NAVSEA/NNSY computer programs/applications: IHS, MAT, WEB MRQT, AIM, E-MALL, SHOP STORES CATALOG, LEVEL ONE TOOL KIT, NAVICP, and CDMDOA.
• Uses Web MRQT and Web MATP, these are public shipyard databases.
