Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the Lead/Senior Mechanical Engineer in the day to day performance of the work 

  • Preparation and Checking of Engineering deliverables- Specifications, Datasheet, RFQs, TBEs for Pumps, Compressors, Gas Turbines, Engines and other Machinery on Offshore Oil and Gas facilities 

  • Review of Vendor offers, Prepare Technical Bid clarifications, Attend Bidder clarification meetings, Review and Approval of Vendor drawings 

  • Detail Engineering of Packages like Chemical injection package, Potable water maker, Fire water pumps, Pedestal cranes, Diesel Generators etc.

    • REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor/Master of Technology - Mechanical 
  • 5-10 years relevant experience in the offshore Oil & Gas industry with specific experience on Detail Engineering of Rotating Equipment and Packages for Offshore Oil and Gas facilities – Wellhead platforms, Fixed Process Platforms, FPSO topsides modules.

  • Strong knowledge of rotating equipment engineering principles (pumps, compressors, turbines) 

  • In depth knowledge of International Codes and Standards applicable with the discipline (such as ASTM, ASME, ANSI, API)

  • Experience in Material Handling Studies is preferable 

  • Effective Team player, capable of working with Multi-National EPC and Engineering Companies and possess Good communication skills.
