Job Description

Waukesha Magnetic Bearings are now hiring for a Mechanical Systems Engineer. In this role you will be undertaking the design and analysis of magnetic bearing systems and auxiliary bearing systems, creating the technical content for sales proposals and supporting the commissioning of new and existing magnetic bearing systems.


You will serve as the technical project lead, interacting with customers and supporting commissioning engineers in the tuning of new systems and the troubleshooting of existing systems.

Note: This role will be part of the team located in Worthing, West Sussex, BN14 9LA and is available on a Hybrid working basis. 


What You Will Bring

  • Education: Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of full-time relevant work experience involving the design and analysis of turbomachinery or rotating equipment, ideally with magnetic bearing systems.
