Mechanical Technician II

This position is primarily responsible for the preventative maintenance program for all mechanical systems, building management systems and life safety equipment.

Responsibilities

• Daily inspections of the building mechanical and electrical systems and all required maintenance and repairs. This includes lighting/electrical systems, chilled/heating water systems, rooftop equipment, compressors and boilers, as well as HVAC control systems and fire alarm/sprinkler systems;
• Monitor and assist contractors in the efficient performance of their contracted duties;
• Record mechanical readings at regular intervals;
• Maintain preventative maintenance program for all life safety equipment and performing repairs;
• Maintain good public relations with tenants;
• Evening and weekend work will be required.
