We have an opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Technician to work for our client who operate a large biomass plant. This is an interesting and varied role, working Monday to Friday with some call out where required.
Your new role
You will be expected to:* Carry out routine plant checks, daily operating tasks, adjustments, tests, and record all plant data.* Fix faults, carry out planned maintenance, and respond to first‑line breakdowns to help the plant meet its reliability and availability targets.* Support daily planned operations and maintenance work according to the CMMS schedule, working with QHSE and operations teams and completing all required CMMS/Safety System documents and RAMS on time.* Diagnose problems, find faults, and repair plant equipment promptly, working with the operations team and external contractors when needed.* Take proactive steps to improve plant reliability, efficiency, and performance while ensuring the plant remains safe an...
