Mechanical/Piping Designer

Technical Solutions Inc. is currently seeking a Mechanical/Piping Designer for our client, a local Pittsburgh engineering consultant. This role will perform Mechanical/Piping system design work either under direction of the Lead Mechanical/Piping Engineer. Essential Duties:-Proficient in AutoCAD and 3D software.-Preferably experience with Plant 3D.-Develop and maintain a good work ethic, , cooperative, hardworking, focused and aware of responsibilities and limitations.-Work well with other disciplines and experience levels.-Know the essential skills of piping and hanger design, field surveys, archive diving, and equipment layout.-Develop skill at Internet searches and Deltek.-Willingness to take direction and try any assigned task.-Work under the close supervision of a senior designer or engineer.-3-D modeling of piping, equipment, and surrounding structures.-Ability to route pipe with relative ease and can handle related field assignments.-Ability to speak and write in the English lan...
