Mechatronics Design Engineer

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL: •Design and fabricate electro-mechanical and robotic systems •Develop mechanical and electro-mechanical prototypes •Assist in designing and developing advanced test equipment for sensing systems •Perform design calculations for systems •Write and submit reports •Develop schematics, logic diagrams, and other control diagrams •Develop, test, and trouble-shoot PLC/SCADA systems •Design custom electro-mechanical components •Design and manufacture custom industrial cabling, wiring, and wiring devices •Develop and maintain engineering drawings •Develop, train users, and maintain standardized Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions VALUED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL: •Provide engineering technical support to Service department with any electrical, control, or mechanical issues •Perform and supplement the responsibilities of a Tooling Engineer Technician as needed and assigned Education and Experience:  REQUIRED: •Bachelor’s Deg...
