Mechatronics Engineer

The Mechatronics Engineer will be responsible for the design, integration, verification, and validation of electromechanical subsystems for surgical robotic platforms. The role requires close collaboration with electronics, embedded software, mechanical, and clinical teams to translate system-level requirements into robust and testable hardware solutions.

• Define and plan system architecture for electromechanical subsystems.
• Specify wiring and harness requirements.
• Integrate electronics, motors, encoders, sensors, and actuators.
• Own subsystem development including part selection, POC builds, and benchmarking.
• Perform subsystem verification and validation, including actuator benchmarking.
• Develop test jigs, fixtures, and validation processes.
• Use lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and logic analyzers.
