Medical Assistant

Pay Rate: $22.50 per hour

Performs selected tasks under the direction and supervision of surgeon or physician assistant, including, but not limited to obtaining patient history, vital signs, preparing examination and treatment areas, procedural assistance, administering medication, various clerical tasks.

Education/Training: High School diploma or equivalent required. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Spanish as a second language a plus.

Experience: Prior medical assistant or phlebotomy experience preferred.

Licensure, Registration or Certification: Certification as a Medical Assistant within 1 year of hire; BLS required.
