We are partnering with a reputable, well-established Neurology and Pain Management clinic in the Parker, CO area to hire an experienced Medical Assistant. This role is ideal for an MA who is confident in a fast-paced clinical environment, curious, eager to learn, and professional in their approach to patient care. Location: Parker, CO Pay: $20-$27/hour (based on experience) Schedule: Monday-Friday -(8:00am-4:30pm or 8:30am-5:00pm) Medical Assistant Job Duties: Escort patients to exam rooms while maintaining a professional and welcoming clinic environment Accurately collect and document patient vital signs and chief complaints Reconcile medications and update allergy profiles within the EHR Support providers in a neurology/pain management setting to ensure smooth clinic flow Utilize EPIC to maintain accurate patient records and manage daily schedules Proactively request outside imaging and upload reports/disks for provider review Manage a high volume of clinical calls (approximately 100 per week), including inbound patient inquiries and outbound chart-prep outreach Perform pre-visit planning by reviewing upcoming schedules and ensuring all labs, imaging, and outside records are uploaded and indexed prior to patient arrival Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience Medical Assistant Diploma BLS certification Ability to work effectively in a busy, fast-paced practice Confident, professional, and patient-focused demeanor Background and Drug Screen required Must have 2 professional references Preferred Qualifications Medical Assistant Certification Prior EPIC experience Experience in neurology, pain management, or another specialty clinic (preferred, not required) Why This Opportunity Join a respected neurology/pain management clinic with a collaborative care team Great opportunities for growth within the clinic Opportunity to grow and learn within a specialty practice * We will consider for employment all qualified Applicants, including those with criminal histories, in a manner consistent with the requirements of applicable federal, state, and local laws, including the City of Los Angeles' Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance (FCIHO), Los Angeles Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers (ULAC), The San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance (FCO), and the California Fair Chance Act (CFCA). * As a job position within our Allied division, a successful completion of a background check may be required as a condition of employment.
