Position Overview

Under the general direction of the Supervisor, Medical Device Reprocessing (MDR) - Main, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface Hospital, the Medical Device Reprocessing Technician, MDR-Main is responsible for the disassembly, cleaning, preparation, sterilization, assembly, testing and storage of reusable patient care supplies and equipment; performing inventory control functions; and performing other related duties as assigned.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

  • Grade 12, or recognized equivalent.
  • Successful completion of the Medical Device Reprocessing Technician Certificate Program from any of the recognized MDR courses.
