Internal and external applications are accepted. This position is located in the Central Zone at the Hants Community Hospital within the OPCZ PERI HCH Prep & Sterile Department. It is a permanent, full‑time, hourly role (100%) on a bi‑weekly schedule.

About The Opportunity

Reporting to the Manager and Supervisor of the Medical Device Reprocessing Department, this position performs detailed technical duties related to the decontamination, sterilization, reassembly, function testing and distribution of medical and/or surgical supplies and medical devices for the operating room and various areas of the hospital. It also performs related clerical duties and record keeping.

About You

• Grade 12
• Successful completion of an approved Medical Device Reprocessing Technician Program (course with practicum preferred)
