Medical Director, Transitional Care/Long Term Care

Job Description

– Saskatoon is seeking a physician for the position of Medical Director, Transitional Care/Long Term Care. The Medical Director will work in collaboration with the Executive Director and Directors of Continuing Care and will act as a liaison between Transitional Care/ Long Term Care and other individuals and members of the multi-disciplinary team and departments. In addition, the Medical Director will actively participate in the recruitment, orientation, medical human resource planning, retention and evaluation of physicians within Transitional Care/Long Term Care. In addition, will participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures including quality and safety, which includes reviewing and monitoring standards and indicators of resident care.
