Summary

  • JOB SUMMARY The Medical Laboratory Assistant is responsible for performing tasks to support pre-analytical and post-analytical functions within St. Luke’s Laboratories. The MLA will promote quality and patient safety while performing specimen collection and processing. The MLA I is responsible for gaining competencies in collection, receiving and distribution of specimens and samples to the appropriate area and the day to day tasks of information collection, correlation and distribution to the appropriate area. Responsible for the customer service functions of the laboratory.
  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education: High School graduate or equivalent. Experience:  Six (6) months of lab experience or CNA, or MA. Licensure/Certification/Registration: N/A
