A Medical Representative (MedRep) is primarily responsible for promoting and selling pharmaceutical or medical products to healthcare professionals, including doctors, pharmacists, and nurses. Their key role involves building strong relationships with these professionals to increase awareness and usage of their company’s products. MedReps are expected to meet or exceed sales targets within their assigned territory by planning daily visits, delivering effective product presentations, and addressing any questions related to dosage, usage, or side effects. They must stay up to date with the latest product knowledge, medical research, and industry trends to provide accurate and relevant information.
