Your Role
Shape and uphold Gen Re’s global underwriting philosophy, ensuring it reflects the latest developments in both medical and non-medical risk assessment. Conduct comprehensive research in accordance with scientific standards to develop robust underwriting guidelines. Drive the evolution of underwriting tools in response to increasing digitalization and automation across the application and underwriting lifecycle. Continuously monitor emerging trends – such as medical advancements, regulatory shifts, and technological innovations – and assess their implications for risk selection. Provide expert support to day-to-day underwriting operations, including handling client referrals and addressing complex underwriting matters.
