This is a field role in our Established Pharmaceuticals Division.

Our broad portfolio of high-quality and differentiated branded generic medicines reaches across multiple therapeutic areas including gastroenterology, women's health, cardiometabolic, pain management/central nervous system, and respiratory.

In this role you will achieve increased customer engagement across platforms at all levels of accounts resulting in increased relevance, demand for and sales of Abbott products leading to increased market share. You will also increase brand relevance and usage in healthcare institutions.

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Achieve annual sales plan of Established Pharmaceuticals Division (EPD) products as laid out in the sales forecast.
Promote Abbott products to the Health Care Professionals (HCP) and to develop relationships and support with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLS) and health care administrators.
Conduct sales calls using selling techniques and methodology employed by Abbott.
Achieve coverage and frequency of targeted customers as defined by the team leader.
Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge in terms of disease areas, products, competitors, health-care trends and environment.
Constantly update and maintain the quality of the customers list.
Possess knowledge of health care infrastructure in the area and update team leader.
Initiate, organize and conduct representative lectures and Journal Club Events with Health Care Professionals (HCP).
Proactively collect information of HCP organized professional events, to identify sponsorship opportunities to product promotion.
Proactively analyze business situation in the area, propose special activities and actions for products promotion.
Reporting – Periodical area report as requested by team leader.
Maintain standards of conduct in line with Abbott code of business conduct
This is a field position - Job requires meeting medical doctors across country and specific in area: south and Jerusalem in Israel.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

Education - B.Sc. life science or equivalent must
Hebrew- fluent
English - ability to read, write and speak
Experience & Background

Experience & Background - Relevant sales experience - Must, Professional employment as a Medical Rep - an advantage
Familiarity computerized work environment.
