Medical Science Liaison

About the Role

We are seeking a scientifically driven and collaborative Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join our team and support medical engagement across one or more therapeutic areas. This role serves as a key scientific resource, building strong relationships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and internal stakeholders to ensure the accurate and ethical exchange of medical and clinical information.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a scientific expert and field-based resource for assigned therapeutic area(s).


• Establish and maintain relationships with KOLs, researchers, and healthcare professionals.


• Communicate clinical and scientific data in a clear, balanced, and compliant manner.


• Support medical education initiatives, advisory boards, and scientific exchange programs.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including medical affairs, clinical development, regulatory, and commercial.


• Provide medical insights to inform strategy, evidence generation, and product lifecycle planning.


• Attend and represent the company at scientific conferences, congresses, and medical meetings.


• Respond to unsolicited medical inquiries and support investigator-initiated research (IIR) activities.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent) in a relevant scientific discipline.


• Experience in a Medical Affairs or MSL role within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry preferred.


• Strong understanding of clinical research, therapeutic landscapes, and regulatory standards.


• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.


• Ability to travel within the assigned region.


• Fluent in English; proficiency in Japanese is a strong asset for Japan-based roles.
