About the role



Lumus Imaging has an opportunity for a patient-focused Medical Receptionist to join our Moree clinic on a full-time basis, working Monday to Friday.
This is a front-of-house role within a busy diagnostic imaging environment, offering stable weekday hours and the chance to be part of a supportive healthcare team.

Based at Lumus Imaging in Moree, NSW, this position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced setting, and takes pride in delivering a positive patient experience.


Comprehensive training will be provided, making this role suitable for candidates with or without prior healthcare experience.


Key responsibilities


  • Welcoming patients and providing a professional and compassionate first impression




  • Managing patient bookings, referrals, and enquiries (in person and via phone)




  • Accurate data entry and maintenance of patient records




  • Processing Medicare, billing, and payment transactions




  • Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic


    • About you


  • Experience in a healthcare or medical reception role is desirable but not essential




  • Strong communication and customer service skills




  • High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities




  • Confidence using computers and administrative systems




  • A team-focused attitude with a genuine commitment to patient care
