Medical Specialist

Compensation: $60-$162 per hour
We are seeking experienced Medical Specialists to support advanced AI research initiatives in healthcare. In this contract-based, fully remote role, you will provide clinical expertise to review, validate, and enhance AI-generated medical content, ensuring accuracy, safety, and real-world clinical relevance. The role is ideal for professionals with nursing-level clinical experience or higher who are passionate about applying their medical knowledge to emerging AI technologies.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Review and validate clinical content, workflows, and annotations used in healthcare AI systems
• Provide expert feedback on AI model outputs related to nursing practices, patient care, and clinical decision-making
• Advise on clinical guidelines, standards of care, and potential patient safety considerations
• Help design realistic medical use cases, scenarios, and question sets
• Clearly communicate clinical insights and recommendations to technical and non-clinical stakeholders

Ideal Qualifications

• Relevant advanced education and professional credentials (e.g., Registered Nurse, MD, PhD, or equivalent)
• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on clinical experience in patient care settings
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and standards of care
• Experience with clinical documentation, case reviews, audits, or medical content validation
• Excellent attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skills

Engagement & Contract Details

• Contract Type: Independent contractor
• Work Mode: Fully remote, flexible schedule
• Project Duration: Based on project needs and performance; extensions possible
• Compensation: Competitive, paid weekly via Stripe or Wise based on work completed
