Medical-Surgical RN in Conway, SC

Job Description Job Description Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience required. A nursing opportunity is available for a MedSurg RN with at least one year of experience, seeking a 6-week contract assignment in Conway, SC. This position offers a work schedule of three 12-hour day shifts per week from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with every other weekend and holiday rotation requirements. A State of South Carolina nursing license or a Compact license must be held prior to the start date, along with current BLS certification. First-time travel nurses are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality medical-surgical nursing care to adult patients across a 28-bed inpatient unit. Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic electronic health records. Float within the scope of practice between like units or sister facilities as needed. Adhere to facility policies and safety standards. Qualifications and Experience: Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license. Minimum of 1 year medical-surgical nursing experience. Current BLS certification. Ability to work a 3x12-hour day shift schedule, including weekends and holiday rotations. Flexibility to float within related units. First-time travel nurses accepted. Shift Details: Days: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each Every other weekend required Holiday rotation Additional Information: Free parking is available on-site. Facility uses Epic for charting. Scrub color: Royal blue. The facility reserves the right to call off one shift every two weeks. Local candidates within 60 miles are not eligible for this assignment.
