Provide specialized, compassionate care as a registered nurse on a well-established oncology medical-surgical unit located in Englewood, CO. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a modern, 13-bed unit staffed by an experienced team committed to delivering high-quality patient outcomes in a supportive environment. Responsibilities: Deliver skilled nursing care focused on oncology and medical-surgical patients, including the administration of chemotherapy Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized patient care plans Utilize an electronic medical record system (Meditech) to document and manage patient information accurately Maintain compliance with unit guidelines and safety protocols, contributing to a clean infection control record Participate in self-scheduling with a commitment to work every other weekend, promoting work-life balance Qualifications and Desired Experience: Active RN license required Previous oncology nursing experience preferred Chemotherapy certification strongly preferred to be considered ahead of other candidates Ability to manage patient ratios typically around 4:1 to 5:1 efficiently Strong communication skills combined with a compassionate and organized approach to patient care Location Insight:Englewood, Colorado offers a vibrant community with access to outdoor recreational activities and cultural experiences.
