Melt Shop Process Engineer – Reading, PA The Opportunity Our client is a leader in metal products manufacturing who has hired us to seek out a Melt Shop Process Engineer for their Reading, PA location. This position reports to the Melt Shop Manager and is responsible for the control and improvement of EB, PAM and VAR processes. The ideal candidate will have experience: Performing melt releases and heat recordings Monitoring Statistical Process Control for melt processes (melt rate, pressure, etc.) Performing corrective actions for non-conforming products Developing and supporting new melt process technologies Implementing Manufacturing Process Experiments Qualifications include: BS/BA Degree in a related field 2 years of Process engineering experience within a heavy manufacturing environment Minitab or other statistical software experience Check out our website at www.availasearch.com!
