ACTIVITIES

As part of the MEMS Mechanical Design Team, the candidate will contribute to study, conceive, design, and verify innovative high performances MEMS gyroscopes and 6-axes IMU for Consumer, Automotive and Industrial fields.

The position is involved in all phases of the product development, from identification and feasibility to design and validation, working in close collaboration with all Divisional Functions.

The main objective of the work is the development of state-of-the-art inertial sensors, researching new solutions with the aim of maximizing performances, optimizing costs and ensure manufacturability, high quality, and reliability.

Furthermore, the candidate will proactively collaborate to patent new sensors concepts and ideas, in collaboration with university and research centers, to propose and deliver innovative design solutions which will sustain ST development roadmap.

  • Good programming skills i.e. Matlab, C, FEM, etc.
  • Good knowledge of dynamic systems.
