BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking **Mental Health Technicians** to join our outstanding and compassionate team at Northside Behavioral Health in Tampa!
**Mental Health Technician II Position Details:**
+ **Facility:** Northside Behavioral Health
+ **Location:** Tampa, FL
+ **Status:** Full time & Pool, Hourly
+ **Shift Hours:** 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM or 6:45 Am - 7:15 PM
+ **Weekend Work:** Every Other
+ **On Call:** No
The Mental Health Technician II Responsibilities:
+ Provides ongoing monitoring and observation of patients to ensure safety and wellbeing.
+ Promotes communication and therapeutic relationships with patients.
+ Assists with physical care under the direction of an RN.
+ Promotes coordination of the unit by completing orders, making phone calls and directing calls and information to the charge nurse.

Required Certification/Licensures:
+ BLS (Basic Life Support)
+ CNA (Nursing Assistant) - preferred
+ Patient Care Technician - preferred
Required Education:
+ High School or Equivalent
+ Associate's degree in related field - Preferred
+ Bachelor's degree in related field- Preferred
Required Experience:
+ Mental Health Technician II - Required 6 months of Psychology based experience or bachelor's degree in related field
+ Mental Health Technician Pool - Preferred 6 months of Psychology based experience
