Position Details

Reporting To: BIM Manager / Senior Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Model Development & Management
• Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models for MEP disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection) using Revit MEP
• Create and manage models adhering to project-specific LOD (Level of Development) standards and client specifications
• Ensure accurate representation of all MEP systems, components, and coordination requirements
• BIM Coordination & Clash Detection
• Perform regular clash detection and resolution between MEP systems and architectural/structural elements
• Coordinate with architecture, structural, and other MEP discipline leads to resolve modeling conflicts
• Participate actively in BIM coordination meetings and workshops
• Document and communicate clash resolutions to project stakeholders
• Documentation & Drawing Generation
• Generate construction drawings, schedules, and specifications from BIM models
• Prepare shop drawings and fabrication details with accurate dimensions and annotations
• Extract accurate quantity takeoffs and material schedules from coordinated models
• Maintain consistency between model and generated documentation
• Standards & Best Practices
• Follow and implement project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEP)
• Adhere to established BIM standards, protocols, and naming conventions
• Maintain model quality through regular audits and quality checks
• Ensure compliance with building codes and industry standards
• Collaboration & Communication
• Work collaboratively with architects, engineers, contractors, and project teams
• Provide technical support and training to team members on BIM software and workflows
• Effectively communicate modeling challenges and solutions to project stakeholders
• Maintain clear documentation of model structure and revisions
• Technical Excellence
• Stay updated with latest BIM technologies, tools, and industry best practices
• Troubleshoot modeling issues and optimize BIM workflows
• Contribute to continuous improvement of BIM processes and standards
• Assist in developing and maintaining BIM libraries and templates

Required Qualifications

• Education: Diploma or B.Tech/BE in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
• Experience: 2 to 5 years of relevant MEP BIM modeling experience
• Software Proficiency:
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP (mandatory)
• Working knowledge of Revit Structural and Architectural modules
• Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD)
• Experience with BIM coordination tools and clash detection software
• Technical Knowledge:
• Strong understanding of MEP systems: HVAC, Electrical distribution, Plumbing, and Fire Protection
• Knowledge of building codes and design standards
• Understanding of BIM methodology, standards, and workflows
• Familiarity with LoD (Level of Detail/Development) frameworks
• Communication & Collaboration:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Strong interpersonal and team-working abilities
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary project teams

Preferred Qualifications & Added Advantages

• Data Center Project Experience — Experience on data center, mission-critical facilities, or large-scale infrastructure projects (highly preferred)
• Advanced Skills:
• Experience with Dynamo for BIM automation
• Knowledge of Navisworks for BIM coordination and clash detection
• Familiarity with cloud-based BIM collaboration platforms (Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360)
• Experience with MEP fabrication CAD and shop drawing generation
• Additional Certifications:
• Autodesk Revit MEP certification
• Relevant BIM or CAD certifications
• Advanced training in specific MEP disciplines
• Project Experience:
• Commercial building projects
• Healthcare facility projects
• Industrial or data center facilities
• International or complex multi-disciplinary projects
