Job Summary:
We are looking for a competent and detail-oriented MEP Design Engineer with hands-on experience in HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical system design. The candidate should have strong exposure to the MEP industry , be proficient in Revit and BIM 360 , and possess good knowledge of USA standards and codes. The role is based onsite in Ahmedabad and involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams on US-based projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Prepare detailed MEP drawings, layouts, schematics, and calculations using Revit MEP.
Work on BIM 360 for coordination, model management, and clash detection.
Ensure compliance with USA standards and codes such as ASHRAE, NEC, NFPA, IPC, and IMC.
Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other consultants.
Review and respond to RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings.
Assist in design development, construction documentation, and project execution.
Maintain accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of all design outputs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Building Services Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 2 years of experience in MEP design.
Strong understanding of HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical systems.
Proficiency in Revit MEP and working knowledge of BIM 360.
Knowledge of USA standards and codes (ASHRAE, NEC, NFPA, IPC, IMC).
Ability to work independently in an onsite environment.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working on US-based projects.
Knowledge of LEED or sustainable building practices.
Familiarity with Auto CAD, Navisworks , or similar tools.
BIM coordination and clash resolution experience.
