Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MEP Design Engineer (HVAC & Plumbing) with at least 2 years of hands-on experience. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in HVAC and plumbing system design, including heat load calculations, duct and piping design, and ventilation systems across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. A solid grasp of industry standards, energy efficiency principles, and code compliance is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop HVAC and Plumbing systems in line with ASHRAE, ISHRAE, NBC, and relevant standards.
  • Perform heat load calculations, airflow analysis, and equipment selection using HAP, AutoCAD, and Revit MEP.
  • Prepare detailed design drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications for project submissions.
  • Coordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP teams for design integration.
  • Conduct virtual or on-site inspections, troubleshooting, and technical support when required.
  • Ensure designs meet energy efficiency and sustainability goals.
  • Provide technical assistance to clients, contractors, and project teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in HVAC and Plumbing design.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, HAP, and relevant software tools.
  • Strong knowledge of ductwork, chilled water systems, VRF systems, and piping layouts.
  • Familiarity with local building codes and international standards.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Must be fluent in Malayalam for effective client and site communication.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in Green Building and Energy-Efficient design.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
