MEP engineer

Description

We are seeking a skilled MEP Engineer to join our team in India. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and overseeing the installation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in various construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee the installation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in buildings.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure that MEP systems are integrated effectively into the overall design.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
• Prepare and review technical drawings and specifications for MEP systems.
• Analyze energy consumption and recommend energy-efficient practices and systems.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for MEP systems during construction and post-construction phases.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
• 5-8 years of experience in MEP engineering, preferably in commercial and residential projects.
• 3-5 years of experience in Civil Construction projects.
• Gulf experience is must.
• Strong understanding of building codes and regulations in India.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software relevant to MEP systems.
• Experience with project management and the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team.
