MEP Engineer (Onsite Chennai)

We are seeking an experienced MEP Engineer to oversee Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems for our on-site project in Chennai. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise, hands-on project execution experience, and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure timely and quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Revit MEP Engineer – Key Roles & Responsibilities (Short)

• Create and update Revit MEP 3D models for HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire‑fighting systems.
  
• Prepare MEP drawings , layouts, sections, and as‑built documentation.
  
• Perform clash detection and coordinate with architectural and structural teams.
  
• Support design teams with model‑based inputs and ensure compliance with relevant codes/standards.
  
• Maintain Revit families, templates, and BIM standards.
  
• Participate in coordination meetings and incorporate design changes.
  
• Ensure accuracy, quality checks, and timely delivery of all BIM/MEP documentation.
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (preferred).
  
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant MEP project experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
  
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, fire‑fighting, and ELV systems.
  
• Hands-on experience with site execution and coordination.
  
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, MEP software, and project management tools.
  
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and team coordination skills.
  
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced onsite environment.
