Estimation & Cost Planning (The Estimator Part)
- Detailed Costing : Analyze drawings, specs to price materials (wiring, pipes, HVAC units) & labor for M, E, & P systems.
- BOQ Preparation : Develop Bills of Quantities and cost summaries for tenders.
- Budgeting : Create budgets, cost plans, and cash flow forecasts.
- Value Engineering : Find cost-saving opportunities without sacrificing quality.
Tendering & Procurement (The Procurement Part)
- Tender Docs : Prepare tender documents (invitations, specs) for MEP works.
- Bid Evaluation : Review, analyze, and compare subcontractor/supplier bids (cost, quality, reliability).
- Negotiation : Negotiate contracts, prices, and terms with suppliers and contractors.
- Sourcing : Identify and select suitable MEP suppliers and contractors.
