Job Description The MEP Estimator - K-12 Construction - DC Metro will: Prepare detailed MEP estimates for commercial, educational, and capital improvement projects Analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to determine scope and cost Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate pricing and feasibility Utilize estimating software such as On-Screen Takeoff and PlanSwift for quantity takeoffs Review subcontractor bids and negotiate pricing to maintain competitiveness Maintain accurate records of estimates and assist in bid presentations Stay current with industry trends and cost data to improve estimating accuracy MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant The MEP Estimator - K-12 Construction - DC Metro will have: Minimum 4 years of experience as an MEP Estimator in construction Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; experience with On-Screen Takeoff and PlanSwift required Familiarity with Sage is a plus Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and negotiation abilities What's on Offer The MEP Estimator - K-12 Construction - DC Metro will receive: Competitive base salary: $80,000-$120,000 Bonus potential up to 10% 20 days PTO Comprehensive benefits including 100% paid health insurance, 401(k) with 4% match, tuition reimbursement, and more Hybrid flexibility (1 day remote after 90 days, subject to team needs) Contact Carolyn Bayha Quote job ref JN-012026-6913698
