As a Commissioning Foreman, you’ll be responsible for supervising and coordinating all on-site commissioning activities for MEP systems on a large-scale facility project. You will work closely with commissioning engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure all systems are tested, commissioned, and handed over in accordance with project requirements, safety standards, and approved procedures.

Your Role

• Supervise and coordinate commissioning and testing activities for MEP systems
• Ensure systems are installed, completed, and ready for commissioning
• Coordinate with commissioning engineers, QA/QC teams, subcontractors, and vendors
• Execute and witness functional testing, system demonstrations, and integrated testing
• Identify, track, and close commissioning punch list items
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, method statements, and safety procedures
• Maintain commissioning checklists, test records, and handover documentation
• Support system handover to operations and facilities teams

Systems Knowledge Required:

The candidate must have hands-on commissioning knowledge of:

Electrical Systems

• LV/MV switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS interfaces
• Power distribution, earthing, and protection systems

Mechanical Systems

• Chillers, pumps, AHUs, cooling towers
• Mechanical equipment testing and system readiness

Water-Based Systems

• Chilled water systems
• Domestic water, drainage, and water treatment systems

Air Systems

• HVAC air distribution systems
• AHU/FCU testing, airflow verification, and controls coordination

Firefighting Systems

• Fire pumps, sprinkler and hydrant systems
• Flow, pressure, and alarm testing

ELV Systems

• Fire alarm systems
• CCTV, access control, BMS/EPMS integration

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP commissioning, preferably in a Foreman or supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing networks, and associated controls.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and commissioning documentation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Relevant trade certification or technical engineering qualification preferred.
• Knowledge of commissioning software, tools, and reporting platforms is a plus.
