POSITION SUMMARY
The MEP Project Manager (MEP Projects) will oversee end-to-end planning,
coordination, execution, and billing closure across multiple ongoing sites.
The role demands proactive interface with clients, architects, consultants, and
vendors, ensuring that design intent, execution quality, and financial milestones
are seamlessly achieved.
A strong command of modern project-tracking and productivity tools is essential
for hybrid monitoring of site performance, resources, and deliverables.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage multiple MEP projects concurrently—from design validation to
- commissioning and client handover.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, and client representatives for design
- approvals and technical compliance.
- Deploy and supervise vendors / subcontractors, ensuring timely execution
- aligned with approved GFC drawings.
- Review and get approval for shop drawings, submittals, and method
- statements in coordination with design teams.
- Track project schedules, material deliveries, and manpower utilization through
- digital project dashboards.
- Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and statutory standards (CPWD / IS / NBC
- / CEA / IEC codes).
- Drive RA billing, certification, reconciliation, and finalization in close
- coordination with accounts & clients.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and productivity improvements during
- execution.
- Provide regular progress reports, risk registers, and resource forecasts to
- management.
- Lead weekly coordination meetings—onsite and virtual—to align technical,
- commercial, and administrative fronts.
- Mentor site engineers and supervisors to ensure consistent performance
- across all project locations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical / Electrical / Building Services Engineering (Master’s
- preferred).
- 10+ years’ experience in MEP project execution, with 5+ years in a multi-site
- lead role.
- Familiarity with CPWD, NBCC, MES, or institutional projects required.
- Knowledge of MS Project, Primavera, and collaboration tools (Teams, Asana, or
- Zoho Projects).
- Strong understanding of contracts, variation claims, and project billing
- mechanisms.
- PMP / Equivalent Project Management Certification desirable.
