Their teams are deeply collaborative, well supported by preconstruction and technology, and focused on executing work the right way Job Description Direct and coordinate the work of subcontractors and trade labor for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, low voltage, and fire protection systems. Manage scheduling, sequencing, delivery, logistics, manpower, and quality control of MEP work. Ensure strict compliance with safety standards, company policies, and applicable regulations. Supervise and develop Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, and other field personnel. Create and adjust work schedules; implement recovery strategies as needed to maintain progress. Communicate effectively with owners, design teams, trade partners, inspectors, and internal stakeholders. Lead coordination efforts with engineers on equipment layouts and system sequencing. Oversee billing support, including work-in-place estimates, payrolls, material invoices, and subcontractor pay applications. Direct startup, inspections, commissioning, turnover, and final punch-list activities. Maintain accurate daily records of MEP work progress and field conditions. The Successful Applicant Bachelor's degree OR at least four years of formal engineering or architectural experience. A minimum of 6 years of mechanical/electrical/plumbing construction experience or a combination of education and relevant experience. Demonstrated knowledge of building construction means and methods, project scheduling, and cost controls. Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, prints, specs, codes, and contract documents. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
