We are looking for a detail-oriented and commercially driven Merchandiser to manage and optimize our product and item lifecycle across channels. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the right products are available at the right time, in the right quantity, and presented in a way that maximizes sales and customer engagement. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in merchandising operations, strong product understanding, and the ability to work cross-functionally with buying, planning, supply chain, and sales teams.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Merchandising & Product Management

  • Plan, execute, and manage end-to-end merchandising activities for assigned product categories.
  • Ensure accurate and timely creation, maintenance, and optimization of product and item data across systems.
  • Drive product assortment planning based on trends, customer demand, seasonality, and business objectives.
  • Monitor product performance and take corrective actions on underperforming items.

Item & Inventory Coordination

  • Manage item-level details including pricing, descriptions, attributes, SKUs, and categorization.
  • Coordinate closely with supply chain and inventory teams to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize stock-outs or excess inventory.
  • Support replenishment planning and track inventory movement to align with sales forecasts.

Product Presentation & Execution

  • Ensure products are merchandised effectively across physical or digital platforms, maintaining brand guidelines and visual standards.
  • Collaborate with design, marketing, and content teams to ensure accurate and compelling product listings.
  • Execute seasonal launches, promotions, and product refreshes in line with merchandising calendars.

Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze sales, inventory, and product performance reports to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Track key merchandising metrics such as sell-through, stock turn, and margin performance.
  • Provide regular insights and recommendations to improve item productivity and category performance.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with buyers, planners, operations, and sales teams to align merchandising strategies.
  • Support new product introductions and phase-out plans to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Act as a bridge between business, operations, and execution teams for all merchandising-related activities.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 2–6 years of experience in merchandising, product, or item management roles.
  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle, item setup, and assortment planning.
  • Experience working with SKUs, item masters, pricing, and inventory data.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales and product performance data.
  • Proficiency in Excel and merchandising or ERP systems (experience with retail or e-commerce platforms is a plus).
  • Strong coordination and communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple products and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
