So let's talk about the role...

A Merchandiser I is responsible for ensuring assigned customer accounts are consumer ready. Maintains fresh products by stocking and rotating, organizing, and refilling back stocks, cold boxes/coolers, shelves, beer caves and displays adhering to all quality and rotation policies.

Keeps backroom and inventory areas clean and organized. Notifies manager of any product breakage in an account.

Completes and documents retail call with signature and provides feedback to Account Manager and/or District Sales Manager (DSM) to ensure appropriate inventory levels and exceptional customer service in all assigned accounts.

Performs all merchandising activities; stocking and rotating, organizing, and refilling back stocks, cold boxes/coolers, shelves, beer caves and displays adhering to all quality and rotation policies ensuring service levels are maintained.

Partners with the Account Manager to identify display opportunities, build displays and executes placement of signage and other merchandising items.

* This is a multi-leveled role with graduated levels of in-market experience, knowledge and skills and responsibilities.
