The Role

As an MET Technician , you will be responsible for the safe and efficient strip-down and reassembly of vehicles in line with approved repair estimates and methods. You’ll play a key role in ensuring repairs are completed accurately, on time, and to the highest quality standards within a busy bodyshop environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strip and refit vehicles in line with repair estimates, methods, and procedures
  • Carry out all dismantling and reassembly work to a high standard, ensuring quality checks are completed throughout
  • Identify and report any deviations from the estimate or repair methods to the estimator immediately
  • Advise the Bodyshop Team Leader of any additional work identified during the repair process
  • Ensure all work is completed within allocated repair times
  • Check parts availability against estimates to prevent delays, returning unused parts for credit where applica...
