Job Description

The Meter Technical Specialist Senior will act as a meter network expert, plan and supervise network design, network device installations, and network performance monitoring / optimization. This role will prepare and configure network devices follow security and industry best practice, including firmware levels. This meter network expert assists in conversion of communication protocols as required.

The day to day for this role will include:

  • Technical leadership on meter network design, coordination

  • Network deployment planning

  • Connectivity and performance management and optimization

  • Plan and supervise network installation

  • Network issue resolution coordination

  • Network inventory planning and coordination

  • Network upgrade / firmware planning, coordination, and execution

  • May perform facility inspections in accordance with APS Standards
