MGR CONTRACTS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Finance, Law, Engineering or a related field is required. Ten years of progressively responsible professional experience in a combination of contract development, negotiation, administration, and purchasing, with at least two years of which were in a supervisory or lead capacity. Knowledge of competitive bidding, competitive negotiation and Federal Transit Administration (FTA) procurement regulations required. 

Knowledge of A/E (Architectural & Engineering), Capital Programs, Construction and Professional Technical Services are desired. Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills required. Professional certification such as Certified Public Purchasing Officer (CPPO) or Certified Public Buyer (CPPB) is preferred. Other certificates, licenses and registrations are desirable.
