Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Operations Managers are responsible for the day-to-day operations and short/long-term planning for the groups they manage. They manage manufacturing, production control, engineering, inventory control, EH&S, shipping/receiving, etc. focusing on the development of technologies and continuous improvement and translating customer requirements into state-of-the-art manufacturing strategies and processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, direct and monitor production activities with the objective of maximizing the use of organization resources and meet established production targets (such as specifications, schedules, volume, cost, wastage target and quality standards) within the production plan.
  • Coordinate local resources and collaborate with SCM to improve the quality and delivery control PDR of SYS products.
  • Represent SYS operation to communicate with local customers and improve ECE level.
  • Timely feedback on customer demand information, actively propose solutions to problems and implement them.

    • Desired Candidate Profile:

    • Bachelor’s in engineering, 10 years’ experience (3 management experience). 
    • Experienced lean production concept and real case.
    • Excellent communication and People Management skills.
    • Good business acumen and management knowledge.
    • Good oral English. 
    • Familiarity with working in teams across functions and countries in a matrix organization is required.
