  • Educational Qualifications

    BE / B.TECH – Paint Technology from renowned institute.

    Work Exp

    Min: 5 years

    Max:

     8 years

    Industry Specification

    Preferably from Automobile OEM where Motorcycles are manufactured.

     Additional Requirements

    Knowledge about Bell Painting, Pretreatment, Decal application and lacquer painting, awareness of line balancing and work content / work measurement techniques etc.

    Preferred Vernacular Language:

    English / Hindi + Marathi advantage

  • KEY COMPETENCIES (Repository & Standard Libraries for Competency Framework - Drop down options access to Admin)
  • Technical

  • Knows and able to drive painting Process/Productivity improvements, VAVE cost saving proposals for Paint shop operations.
  • Knowledge of Best all mechanical equipment used in paint shop like Pumps, conveyors, drive units, reciprocation system, Leak testing machines etc
  • Aware about the latest developments and techniques used in manufacturing (OEM) process.
  • Knowledge about painting equipment’s including electrostatic painting application and paint kitchen etc. will be added advantage.
  • Knowledge about Assembly processes.
  • To Coordinate and provide supporting hand to customers (Internal and External)
  • Should have knowledge and exposure in implementation of
  • TPM systems, including JH/KK/E&T/QM pillar activities.
  • Compliance to various ISO System Audits – QMS, EMS, OHSAS
  • Material Flow , Material Handling improvement
  • Poka-yoke and Automation for defect free production.
  • Cost reduction methods and techniques associated to work area
  • Able to derive energy conservation ideas
  •  5S & housekeeping standards in the shop.

    6. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (Role Based - Std Library)

  • Ensure smooth operations of paint shop & sub assembly lines: Plan and achieve shift wise production target as per quality standards
  • Provide support to team members in the shops to improve in PQCDSM parameters.
  • Interface, planning and execution of engineering changes at paint shop.
  • Coordinate hassle free introduction of new models as per management plans.
  • Coordinate with Automation team to convert manual process into automation.
  • Plan to analyze to improve line RFT / OLE/ DPR
  • On the job training and capability building of cell members & DTEs for current as well as future roles.
  • To create a conducive environment for safe and engaged working.
  • To maintain safety of equipment & people by monitoring safety interlocks
  • To find cost effective solution for the consumable Items by monitoring, analyzing, implementing ideas/Kaizens
