**Purpose Statement**:The Manager
- Product Engineer role is responsible as the key liaison between manufacturing and the customer, ensuring that overall customer quality and regulatory requirements and expectations are met and product meets all specifications.
**Key Job Accountabilities**:
- Lead the capture of customer requirements, determination of BOM structure, and development of the Product Control Plan. Define product ABI's and tooling strategy. Ensure manufacturing readiness of assigned customer product using the APQP process.
- Serve as the technical expert for customer inquiries, lead design for manufacturability discussions, and assist the customer in resolving problems, coordinating for SME support as needed.
- Conduct product-level improvement efforts to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Support efforts to identify root causes of failures and develop short
