Job Role & Responsibilities

Role: Supplier Quality Assurance-Electronics

Responsibilities:

Vertical Responsibilities:

  • Electronic parts compliance to specification.
  • Electronic parts Issue resolution
  • New models Quality (RAR-Run at rate, DRBFM, PRBFM)
  • Standardization / 20 Basic Quality systems
  • Vendor audits/ reviews

    • Horizontal Responsibilities:

  • Ability to develop electronic components of EV battery /EV motors /Speedo meters/head lamps /Tail lamps/Motor control Units /DC DC converters/BMS /ECU/VCU/TCU
  • Control of IPO Documents
  • Identify improvement points in process and make process more robust

    Competency Requirements

    Technical/ Functional:

  • Knowledge of Software's like Altium for DFM
  • Should have good knowledge on best practices on wave soldering /Reflow/Robotic soldering/Manual soldering/soldering standards
  • Good process knowledge including PCB handling - fuses /Led/TFT etc
  • Ability to prepare process flow for PCB manufacturing 
  • Should have Integrated Circuit testing 
  • Should have knowledge of Lab view or equivalent software etc.
  • Experience in handling of quality systems/diagnosis of electronic components for EV application – Battery Charging system, Battery Management System, Motor control unit system, Motors, Charging circuits, Micro controllers, PCB & digital instrument clusters (speedometers)
  • Good understanding of all applicable standards/ regulations and their application
  • Process review & upgradation of the process.

  • Candidate should be able to work in a dynamic and challenging environment with deliveries on schedule.
  • Good Interdepartmental co-ordination required.
  • Should understand situations in depth, analyze and resolve issues

    • Specific expertise required for functional area:

    1)SMD -PCB- process with clear understanding of defects and its resolution,

    2) In-depth understanding / analysis of the electronic circuitry for EV & automotive industry.
