Reports To: In-Charge – Quality Control

Job Purpose

To perform and oversee microbiological testing on raw materials and finished goods, environmental and water monitoring, and ensure compliance with laboratory, hygiene, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and review microbiology lab conditions and records.
• Perform and verify daily calibration of analytical balance.
• Conduct and review test on Raw materials, Finished Goods and In process materials.
• Conduct and review daily water testing.
• Execute monthly area monitoring (settled plate method).
• Perform and review scheduled microbiological testing within timelines.
• Conduct and review swab testing (hand, wall, floor, equipment, and surfaces).
• Handle, maintain, and calibrate microbiological instruments as per SOPs.
• Ensure proper sample handling and data integrity.
