Key Responsibilities
Research & Experimentation: Plan and execute experiments to understand microbial behavior, interactions, and effects on health, environments, or products.
Analysis & Testing: Perform microbiological testing on samples (clinical, food, water) to identify microbes, check for contamination, or monitor outbreaks.
Identification & Classification: Isolate, culture, and identify microorganisms using specialized techniques and equipment.
Product Development: Contribute to creating new medicines, vaccines, biofuels, or improving sterilization methods.
Quality & Safety: Ensure compliance with safety protocols (GMP) and verify the microbial safety of food, pharmaceuticals, and other products.
Reporting & Documentation: Prepare detailed technical reports, research papers, and maintain accurate laboratory records.
Collaboration: Work with other scientists, healthcare professionals, and epidemiologists.
Typical Skills & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in microscopy, sterile techniques, DNA/RNA analysis, and using specialized lab equipment.
Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and data interpretation abilities.
Attention to Detail: Crucial for accurate testing and documentation.
Work Environments

Requirements
Must be a high school graduate. Further training in child care and development from some registered institution (eg. ACNS ). Proven child care experience with references. First Aid and CPR certification. Safety certification. A valid driving license and a safe driving record.
