Are you passionate about driving digital transformation in the Canadian Public Sector? Our client is seeking a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade solutions using Dynamics 365 and Power Platform . In this role, you'll collaborate with public sector stakeholders, guide technical teams, and architect impactful solutions that improve service delivery and citizen experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and architect scalable Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions aligned with digital transformation goals in the public sector.
  • Lead solution delivery across various Dynamics 365 modules, including Customer Service, Case Management, and E-commerce.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, aligning technology solutions with business priorities.
  • Collaborate with municipal, provincial, and federal clients to enhance operational efficiency and citizen engagement.
  • Build and deliver tailored demos and proof-of-concepts (POCs) to showcase solution capabilities.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership throughout implementation, including configuration, customization, and integration.
  • Manage and optimize Microsoft licensing strategies to support cost-effective deployments.
  • Support AI-driven initiatives using Microsoft Copilot, AI Builder, and chatbot integration to enhance automation and service delivery.
  • Mentor internal teams and deliver training to IT staff and business users.
  • Guide clients through UAT and deployment, ensuring seamless transition to production.
  • Maintain reusable demo environments and train technical teams using real-world applications (e.g., Region of Durham).
  • Stay current on platform updates, licensing changes, and best practices across the Microsoft ecosystem.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Commerce, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience designing and delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions at enterprise scale.
  • Strong understanding of digital transformation initiatives within Canadian public sector organizations.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Experience leading technical teams and complex solution deployments.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft AI tools (e.g., Copilot, AI Builder) and their application in customer engagement scenarios, including AI-powered chatbots.
  • In-depth knowledge of licensing models and optimization strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor cross-functional teams.
